Lions clubs are made up of men and women who share a commitment to making their communities better places in which to live.

The results of this commitment can be seen in Lions Parks; Community Centres; Sports Teams; Seniors Centres and much more.

The Lions of Alberta Foundation wishes to recognize the youth of these communities who share this desire to contribute something, on a volunteer basis, to the communities in which they live.

This is a joint venture between the local Lions club and the province wide Lions Foundation of Alberta.

The Foundation is offering $250 to match a similar amount presented by the local Lions club. The Lions Legacy Scholarship will recognize a combination of community service and academic achievement with an emphasis on community service.

These annual scholarships are limited to one scholarship per high school, per Lions club.
